My fitness level is noticeably better plus my core is definitely strengthening each week. I suffer from a bad lower back and weak stomach muscles after having a C-section a few years ago, sometimes worry about certain exercises setting my back off, but each week I am seeing that I can do more, really enjoying it now able to push myself a little more with the help of James. If there is a certain exercise I can’t do, James will always advise of alternate ones.”

“My main motivation was to get back to playing rugby. I haven’t been able to play for few years due to various different injuries which left me feeling depressed, as time went on my confidence and fitness just rapid deceased leaving me at an all-time low. I decide this summer enough was enough , I’ve known James for years so took it upon myself to seek his advice. As I live in Essex James works in Surrey it wasn’t visible for me to be able to train at times suitable for both. So James formulated a 4 week exercise and nutrition plan for me to follow in my own time at my local gym. I was able to easily implement and follow the exercise program and nutrition plan as included was a sit down consolation to discuss my goals, health check/body composition, nutrition guidance and 1 x personal training session step by step guide through each exercise, exercise equipment and exercise techniques making sure I came away with an exercise and nutrition plan I fully understood. Also James was always on hand for any additional support if I needed.

“I joined James exercise sessions just before the summer. I started with one session per week once before I started to feel a difference in my fitness and confidence I’ve now worked up to 3 – 4 sessions per week.

James’s sessions included Circuits, HIIT, Trampoline and Boxercise. All very different sessions which is great as it adds variety so you never get bored.

I also took up “40 Day Project Me Diet Plan” as I wanted to reduce my weight. I went through my goals with James also had weighing plus body measurement to determine what would be the best plan for me. I was given extra cardio “Am now swimming every morning which am loving” then put on a specific diet plan to follow. I can’t say it was easy as it wasn’t but so glad I did it as I am now 20Ibs down which means I’ve drop 2 dress sizes the aim is to set new goals to keep reducing getting even better result

“I started training with James around the beginning of the year to get ready for my holiday in May. At first I found it difficult not just the exercising but mostly the nutrition part was a real shock to the system making the necessary lifestyle changes given what I have been so use to.

“When it hit me and I decided to take action late last year 2017 I thought to myself I was smoking at least 20 a day drinking 5 cans of beer just over 3 years ago. I’ve been through a lot of tough stuff but not using it to hold me back I’m using it to make me stronger. At that moment I decided I wanted to learn how to box which I would use to also help me get fit, lose weight and tone up. I chose to train with James Danderson – D.O.BF1tness as I had seen first-hand how he helped my sister lose weight. James has taught me more about nutrition (from my Marco to my Micro nutrition’s also how to control my portions sizes). Changing from eating junk and process foods to eating a healthy balanced diet. Sessions are great 1 x boxing session a week (learning how to box going from basic training to now more advanced) to noticing the difference in my fitness and endurance levels in only 4 weeks. Personal training session once a week (weight resistance training combined with cardio training) which in only 12 weeks has helped me transform my body shape losing 7Ibs – half a stone whist gaining leaner muscle. Now in 2018 am more determined and I will reach my goals! I say, I do, I achieve! Just going to show everyone that anything is possible!”
